Preparation and Baking
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) or set your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe avocado until smooth.
- Add the egg and mix until well combined.
- Stir in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish or air fryer-safe pan.
- Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or in the air fryer for 10-15 minutes, until the top is golden and set.
- Let cool slightly before slicing.
Notes
Slice it warm with a soft knife. For added creaminess, serve with a smear of butter or a spoon of Greek yogurt. Cool completely before storing; keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to avoid drying out.
