  • 1 piece ripe avocado Choose a ripe avocado that is not overly soft.
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese Dry the cheese if it's very moist, to prevent excess liquid.

Method
 

Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) or set your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe avocado until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish or air fryer-safe pan.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or in the air fryer for 10-15 minutes, until the top is golden and set.
  7. Let cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Slice it warm with a soft knife. For added creaminess, serve with a smear of butter or a spoon of Greek yogurt. Cool completely before storing; keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to avoid drying out.
