  • 4 fillets salmon fillets Pick even-thickness fillets for even baking.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Press into the fish to form a flavorful crust.
For the sauce
  • 2 avocados Use ripe avocados for the best texture.
  • 1 unit lime (juiced) Adds brightness to the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream Can substitute with non-dairy yogurt for a dairy-free option.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to taste.
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish) Adds fresh flavor and color.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring salmon to room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Coat the fillets well with Cajun seasoning, pressing in gently.
Cooking
  1. Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.
  2. While the salmon bakes, prepare avocado lime sauce by blending the avocados, lime juice, Greek yogurt, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Serving
  1. Once the salmon is done, let it rest for a minute, then top with the creamy avocado lime sauce.
  2. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.

Notes

For reheating, use a low oven (275-300°F) or gently reheat in a covered skillet. Cool salmon and sauce separately before storing in airtight containers.
