Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon coconut flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoon salted butter Unsalted is fine to swap with or use coconut oil.
  • 1 large egg Use room temperature for best results.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your waffle iron.
  2. In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
  3. Melt butter, let it cool slightly, then whisk it with the egg.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until the batter is smooth.
Cooking
  1. Pour the batter onto the hot iron and cook until golden and easily releases.

Notes

For best texture, serve warm. Add fresh berries or sugar-free syrup for kids. For adults, consider whipped cream cheese with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Store waffles in an airtight container and freeze for longer storage.
