Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with foil or parchment.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground meat, egg, BBQ seasoning, salt, pepper, and chopped onion.
- Add almond flour if the mixture feels too wet and mix until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into balls about 1.5 inches wide and place them on the prepared sheet pan with space between them.
Cooking
- Bake the meatballs for 14 to 18 minutes, until cooked through.
- Toss the hot meatballs in the warmed BBQ sauce, then bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes to get a glossy coating.
Notes
Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for 2 to 3 months. Reheat with a splash of water or extra sauce to keep them juicy.
