  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Use pre-shredded for convenience.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to cheese saltiness.
For toppings
  • as desired Marinara sauce Use a moderate layer to avoid sogginess.
  • as desired Additional cheese Use mozzarella or any preferred cheese.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a dough.
  3. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined pizza pan, shaping it into a crust.
Baking the crust
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and add your desired toppings.
  3. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
Serving
  1. Let the pizza cool for three to five minutes after baking to make slicing easier. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

For best texture, serve slices hot from the oven. Let the pizza rest a few minutes for cleaner slicing. Use bowls of toppings for customization.
