  • 1 lb ground pork or chicken You can use either ground pork or chicken.
  • 1 bag coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage and carrots For convenience, coleslaw mix is recommended.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Minced fresh garlic adds great flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced Minced fresh ginger adds a nice kick.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari Tamari is a gluten-free alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Gives a rich flavor to the dish.
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar Adds a tangy flavor.
  • 2 green onions sliced For garnish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season as desired.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add ground pork or chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add coleslaw mix and cook until it starts to soften.
  5. Pour soy sauce and rice vinegar over the mixture, stirring to combine.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and top with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Can be served with rice, cauliflower rice, or in lettuce wraps. For extra flavor, drizzle with Sriracha or sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
