For the bagels
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional) For topping

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, and softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel, making a hole in the center.
  6. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds if desired.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying fresh and warm.

Notes

Store cooled bagels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or freeze them for longer storage.
