Ingredients
  

For the danishes
  • 1 tube keto-friendly crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered erythritol or your preferred sweetener
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, powdered erythritol, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a nice glaze.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving, and top with your choice of berries or nuts.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven before serving for best results. Optional: Freeze unbaked rolls for later use.
